Let your paint brush be your vessel and the canvas be your alter.
Resting in Jesus arms
Just think about the compassion the peace the love of resting in Jesus arms.
Just being able to release all that’s on your mind. All that’s holding in your heart. Releasing it all to the one who loves you the most.
Allowing His warm embrace cradle you. Like a child being comforted by its parent.
Letting Jesus speak His word of love over you.
Hearing Him say My Child I am Here. I love You. Rest I’ve got this.
Rest Release and allow me to hold and carry you through this.
The Weight of the world
She feels tired drain and lonely. Caring all kinds of different loads and circumstances on her shoulders. As evening starts to happen. The sky filled with pink orange and warm yellow colors. Hearing the water casting down the waterfall.
She realizes she’s not alone. Jesus is with her. Jesus is helping carrying her burdens.
He is lifting that weight of the world off her shoulders. He is carrying this pain. Even when we feel or don’t know He is there. He is. He tells us to release this heaviness and talk to him. Vent to Him. His love is unconditional.
Jesus in the boat
Jesus sits in the boat watching waiting wondering where you are in this boat story.
It’s a beautiful warm evening. The sun is setting with colors yellow orange and pink in the sky. The solitude away from the shore line. Serenity of the water. Jesus sits and wonders where you are in this story.
Are you on shore scared not trusting?
Are you one foot on shore one foot in the boat not fully trusting?
Are you all in with Jesus? Sitting next to Him talking and enjoying the serenity.
Trusting Him fully. Jesus I’m yours
Where are you in this story?
Painting as Prayer
Painting became more than art.
It became prayer without words.
Each brushstroke carried emotion I could not yet name. There was no pressure to make something perfect or understandable. God did not ask for beauty—He asked for honesty. And in that honesty, healing flowed.
The canvas held what my heart could not.
Techniques That Invite Healing
God works gently, and healing often comes step by step. Through painting, I learned that restoration does not have to be rushed.
Some days, healing came through slow, intentional strokes that encouraged peace.
Other days, it came through layers of color—covering, reshaping, and renewing what once felt broken.
Sometimes darker colors appeared first, but light always followed.
In this process, I learned that just as paint layers transform a canvas, God layers grace upon grace in our lives.
